Build a Bouquet is a four-week workshop series — one flower a week, one small group, four Tuesday mornings you'll genuinely look forward to. Each session, we'll teach you a new flower from scratch and you make as many as you can in the time. Take home what you finish, and anything you haven't completed yet to work on during the week.
By the end of four weeks, you'll have a beautiful collection of handmade paper flowers — and the skills to keep going.
💐 Build a Bouquet — Workshop Series
Week 1 - 9 June | Clematis Open-faced and striking - the clematis has just a handful of broad petals that look deceptively simple and are deeply satisfying to make. A great first flower.
Week 2 - 16 June | Peony Full, layered, and lush. You'll build up petal after petal to create one of the most iconic blooms there is. We'll also use watercolour to add depth and dimension to the petals — the results are just beautiful. Once you know how to make a peony, you'll want to make them forever.
Week 3 - 23 June | Blossom Delicate and soft — the blossom brings a completely different energy to the mix. Lighter, quicker to build, and beautiful in multiples.
Week 4 - 30 June | Foliage + free choice The finishing session. You'll learn to make crepe paper foliage to pull your flowers together - and if you want to make more of any flower from the series, this is your session to do it.
We work exclusively with imported Italian crepe paper — and once you get your hands on it, you'll be hooked. It folds and shapes so beautifully, moving in a way that just mimics the natural curves and texture of real flowers. There's really nothing like working with it.
No experience needed, and no need to bring a thing. All materials are provided.
There's a great cafe on-site — grab a coffee before you start, or order while you work. Come solo, or bring a friend. Either way, you'll leave knowing a few people you didn't before.
This is a series - you'll book and pay for all four sessions together, and the same small group will show up each week. That's part of what makes it good.
